ETC

As with any project that takes 4 to 5 (or more) years to complete, some changes can happen.  How about job/career change and/or a move ?  Across the country (or at least most of it) during the month of February !.   One of my concerns was moving the project from Washington (state) to Texas, without damaging the airplane.  I ended up putting the airplane in a 26 ft U-haul truck; and the wings in a 12 ft trailer, so far it appears that I made the trip without "dinging" the project.  Now if I just could find what boxes go where.........
< Trip 1, Wings in a cradle (Upside down "T" , with carpeting for padding on the leading edges).  Plywood side and a top was added since,  I needed to use the space and I wanted to protect the wings>
< Trailer full of "stuff", the horizontal stab is laying (tied) down on top of the wings.

Trip 2, Loading the plane, the fuselage just cleared the deck of the truck,  be sure to remove any antennas from the bottom of the aircraft, before rolling the aircraft to the door > ....

< In she goes !,,, Clearance on the wheel stance was close ... maybe about 2" on either side >
< I used a "come-a-long" and ratcheted the plane in>

< I had 4 straps pulling the aircraft forward against the wheel wells, and one on the tail tiedown.

Underneath the aircraft, and along the sides of the truck was filled with "stuff". I tried to keep stuff at least a foot a way from the plane >
